Ann Harmon has been involved with scholarship pageants for over 30 years, as a local director in Texas and Louisiana, a board member and founder of Princess America. Her desire to empower young women by encouraging an education led her to acquire the largest in-kind scholarships to award at her local pageant. This led to Ann winning the largest in-kind scholarships at the state level for 28 consecutive years. Ann was on the founding board of the Louisiana Teen Pageant and served on the teen board in many capacities such as the booking manager, webmaster and traveling companion. She has judged local, state, and national pageants in many systems. Ann was named the Miss Louisiana Volunteer of the Year 2012 and the Princess America Spirit Award 2011.

Ann enjoys volunteering with Holy Angels, Shriner's Children's Hospital in Shreveport and Give Kids the World Village in Orlando, FL.

Ann and husband Buddy own and operate Harmon Ranch in Leigh, Texas. Between them they have six children and 11 grandchildren.
