Application Requirements:
First, you will need to complete an application. Then, your application will be evaluated and will go through an approval process for selection. You will be contacted within 5 business days if you are approved to compete for the Miss Louisiana Teen Volunteer Pageant. If your application is accepted you will be required to send in half of the competition fee. Once your deposit is received you will be given a local title. With your local title, you can immediately begin earning valuable scholarship money when you participate in the "Build Your Own Scholarship".
Also, with your local title and approval from the State ED, you will be empowered to use your title to participate in local appearances and to bring awareness of your personal service initiative. If you wish to have a sash with your local title, you can order one through the State ED.
The competition fee covers all of your expenses for the 3-day event including workshops, meals, an evening event, and supports the scholarships and awards that are distributed during the competition weekend.
